Elvis and Vincent merge at Graceland this Spring 2022. Culture by Abigail Morici. Recounts 1954 Elvis hitchhiking, as payment Elvis sent a package containing a watch letter and requesting assistance locating a painting of a cow in a meadow signed by Elvis. The painting was found and returned to Elvis. Then after Elvis death the picture was shipped to the man, who helped locate the painting and provided a ride to the young Elvis. The painting statement of fact was filed at the US Copyright Office. The article documents and interview with Smith about the painting, her research and her opinion.
